Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagat on Thursday said that now the days have come when new generation needs to be taught to say 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'.

"It is extremely unfortunate; it should come naturally," the RSS chief added


"Now, there are people who ask you not to say 'Bharat Mata ki jai'," the RSS chief said in veiled attack on anti-nationals.


Noteworthy, the Bhagwat's comments came close on the heels of JNU row.



Mohan Bhagwat wase speaking at Matrishakti award ceremony held in Maharashtra's Nagpur.


Earlier,  RSS leader Dattatreya Hosabale had alleged that the JNU row was a result of a 'conspiracy' and said that those who raised slogans in support of Pakistan and Afzal Guru are 'traitors' and should be charged with treason.
