JKNPP to send five-member fact finding panel to NIT Srinagar
Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) will send a fact-finding panel to NIT, Srinagar tomorrow, which will submit a report to HRD Ministry.
Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) will send a fact-finding panel to NIT, Srinagar tomorrow, which will submit a report to HRD Ministry.
"JKNPP in a secretariat meeting held at party headquarters in Jammu has constituted a five-member fact finding committee in NIT Srinagar row", President JKNPP, Balwant Singh Mankotia told reporters on Tuesday.
Mankotia will head the committee that includes leaders Gagan Pratap Singh, Chetan Sharma, Mohinder Pal Singh Pandu and Bashir-Ud-Din.
Tension gripped the NIT campus after India lost to West Indies in semi-final in the T-20 cricket tournament prompting some local students to rejoice and burst crackers.
This led to protest by outstation students resulting in clashes. Since March 31 night, the situation inside the campus has been volatile.
