Watch: SDM almost loses job for walking past Jharkhand CM during speech

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das is in the dock for ordering the suspension of a senior government official at a function.

As per details available, Das was delivering a speech at a function when a sub-divisional magistrate walked past him.

Taking it as an offence, the CM scolded the SDM and asked, “Don't you have manners?”

He further told other officials present at the event to suspend the erring SDM.

Resuming his speech a little later, Das said this kind of work culture will no more continue in Jharkhand.

It is not clear whether the SDM was suspended or let off.
