After her resignation as Karnataka DSP, Anupama Shenoy creates a stir with Facebook statuses
Anupama Shenoy resigned as Karnataka DSP on June 04, 2016, reportedly in protest against some Congress workers` interference in her official duties.
Bengaluru: Anupama Shenoy, who resigned as Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kudligi Sub-division in Ballari district, is in the news once again.
Shenoy resigned as DSP on June 04, 2016, reportedly in protest against some Congress workers' interference in her official duties.
She later moved to an undisclosed location.
However, Shenoy is not silent and has waged a war against Labour Minister Parameshwar Naik.
In a Facebook post, Shenoy dared Naik to resign: "I have resigned already, Parameshwara Naik, when will you?"
The post also said that if Naik fails to resign, she would release a CD that should be viewed only in the midnight. She also warns that the CD is not meant for children, reports OneIndia.
She wrote: “CD beku?... Audio beku?... ” (Do you want a CD or a audio tape?) using hashtags #ParameshiPremaPrasangaBhaga1 and #WashingPowderNirmaPart2.
She also took a dig at former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy and described the Siddaramaiah government as `Rum Rajya`.
In another post, she wrote that an FIR may be filed against her considering the status. "Heard FIR would be filed against me after going through my status in Facebook #Brihannalas".
Earlier, the 2010-batch IPS officer, Shenoy wrote: 'Resigned and jobless – with a smile emoticon.’
Her profile picture – the Jeffersonian quote: "When injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes duty – bespeaks her protest against the unfair treatment meted out to her."
Last week, state BJP president BS Yeddyurappa had charged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah with silently backing some Congress workers who caused 'mental agony' on Anupama Shenoy.
Anupama had tendered her resignation on June 4 after these people protested against the preventive detention of the trio, who wanted to extend their liquor shop, which would have blocked a road leading to Ambedkar Bhavan.
The complaint was lodged by Dalit leaders.
