The child is paralysed and due to this disability, he can't feel his legs.

Hopping to cure their child's ailment, the parents kept their child half-buried inside the heap of dirt for nearly three hours, as per India Today.

Reacting to the incident, Ashok Kenny, MLA of Bidar district said, “In Bidar, 86% of the people are below poverty level. We can correct the superstition through education. Even the educated people are superstitious...I consider our generation as a lost generation when it comes to superstition. Let’s do something about the next generation. Let’s us educate them and bring them up to date with the 21st century.”
