New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday set aside the Karnataka High Court order on cancelling the sanction of the five-storey plot allotted to Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda in Bengaluru on grounds of irregularities.

In 2012, the Karnataka High Court had ordered the local authorities to acquire the land allotted to Gowda for alleged violation of municipal laws.


The High Court had then questioned the construction of a five-storey commercial building against the lease agreement and building plans.
