Watch: Man dances in protest after his son denied school admission under `Right to Education`
People present at the office of the district collector of Mandsaur were left shocked.
Bhopal: The 'Right to Education' is a fundamental right of every child in the country but as the state of affairs is such in our country that may poor parents have to run from pillar to post to ensure that their child gets educated.
Dashrath Suryavanshi of Mandsuar reached the district collector's office with a plea that his son should be granted admission in a school under RTE.
Suryavanshi said that he cannot afford the Rs 27,000 being asked by a private school as admission fees and requested for help from the district authorities.
Tired of the apathy he was subjected to, Suryavanshi danced in front of the collector.
Embarrassed by his act, the collector, reportedly, assured him that his son will get the benefits he is entitled under the RTE Act.
