Zee Media Bureau Mumbai: A fire broke out in a building near Mumbai`s Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus station on Friday evening. According to reports, eight fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames as the officials said that the blaze had upgraded to a grade-2 fire.
Besides fire engines, eight jumbo tankers were deployed at the building to bring the inferno under control and douse it completely. The building is near the platform number 1 of the CST`s station. PTI reported that the Central Railway authorities informed that three suburban train services on the Harbour Line (serviced from platform nos 1 and 2) were cancelled. A part of the JJ flyover, which is near the building that has caught fire, has been closed. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. No casualty was reported in the incident.
