Mumbai: In the latest development in Sheena Bora murder case, CBI on Thursday submitted chargesheet in Mumbai's Esplanade Court.

The CBI has prepared 1000-page chargesheet in which it named Sheena's mother Indrani Mukerjea, Indrani's former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai as accused in the case.


Earlier in the day, Shyamvar Rai had recorded his statement before a court here.

"The court recorded Rai's statement under the provisions of Section 164 of Criminal Procedure Code, which unlike a police statement is admissible in court," said a CBI official.
