The Darma Muneeswaran temple at Serangoon North in Singapore was re-consecrated in a Maha Kumbhabshegam ceremony entailing pouring of holy water, a 12-yearly ritual, The Straits Times reported Thursday. The event Wednesday saw priests carrying vessels of water on their heads to the temple and tipping the water over the heads of the temple`s nine devotees. The rest of the water was sprinkled on devotees as a blessing.
Darma Muneeswaran is considered to be a form of Lord Shiva.
