Zee Media Bureau New Delhi: After BJP spokesperson Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi termed expelled JD(U) leader Sabir Ali as a "friend" of Indian Mujahideen chief Yasin Bhatkal, the latter met the former and withdraws the case against Naqvi clarifying that there is no issue between the two leaders.
Hours after Ali was inducted into the BJP with much fanfare as it was seen as a boost to the party`s attempts to attract Muslims, Naqvi had then tweeted that terrorist Bhatakal`s friend has joined BJP. Justifying his opposition to Ali`s induction, Naqvi alleged that Bhatkal was arrested from Ali`s Mumbai residence some time ago. He also had alleged that Ali`s name had figured in the murder case of noted music producer Gulshan Kumar.
