New Delhi: This time Google CEO, Sundar Pichai was the target of OurMine, a Saudi based hacking group. After hacking Pinterest and Twitter accounts of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, it was their second successful attempt.

This three-man hacker outfit hacked Pichai's Quora and Twitter accounts as both were interconnected.


According to the Indian Express, OurMine Team posted a series of tweets late Sunday night linking to Pichai’s Quara posts and referencing itself. This is when the breach came to light. The group didn’t really hack Pichai’s Twitter account and used Quora’s auto-re-tweeting feature to post tweets.


The main intention of the OurMine is to rebrand themselves as a security firm. They clarified that their intention is only to test the security of all celebrity account they hacked into.
