New Delhi: Popular search engine Google pays  tribute to the legendary English writer William Shakespeare on his  400th death anniversary with a beautiful doodle.

The visitors on the homepage are greeted with a doodle of William Shakespeare writing with a feather pen and also highlighting almost all the themes on which he wrote on.


Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616, merely at the age of 52 but he is still considered to be among the most influential of the English authors . He is often called as England's national poet and the 'Bard of Avon'.
