That means verify your account with just a yes/no pop and say bye to confirmation mail, texts and a separate security key.

The new feature is backed into Android using Google Play services and while iOS users will require the Google search app, according to 9to5 Google.

The Google Prompt brings up a simple dialogue featuring your name, profile image, and the specific city and device you’re trying to log-in from. Underneath, there is a simple “No, deny sign-in” or “Yes, allow sign-in” to approve the sign-in request.

Users can enable this feature on Google's My Account page. Once enabled, users will receive alert pop-ups when trying to sign in to their Google account.
