New Delhi: Snapchat released a special Purple Rain geofilter in honour of legendary artist Prince (Prince Rogers Nelson), who died at the age of 57 last week.

With the new update, Snapchat users can now add purple rain drops to their selfies and photos taken with the popular social media app.



The purple rain filter was made available to users after news of “Purple Rain” singer's death. Prince was found unresponsive in an elevator at his Paisley Park studio in Minnesota on Thursday.


 


The social media firm has also created a 'We Love Prince' story on its website, where users can share their tributes throughout the day.



Meanwhile, NASA also tweeted out a stunning 'purple nebula' as a tribute to the legendary musician.
