"The AAP leaders have been continuously trying to disturb communal harmony in Punjab. Party leader Ashish Khetan hurt religious sentiments of Sikhs by comparing party manifesto with Guru Granth Sahib while Delhi MLA Naresh Yadav allegedly hatched a conspiracy to foment communal riots by sacrilege of holy book," Singh alleged.

The protesters demanded AAP head Arvind Kejriwal "expel" Khetan and Yadav from the party, and apologise to the followers of Sikhism and other religions.
