27 IPS officers transferred in Rajasthan
In a reshuffle in Rajasthan`s police department, the state government has transferred 27 IPS officers, including an Additional DG, an IG and SPs of 14 districts.
Jaipur: In a reshuffle in Rajasthan's police department, the state government has transferred 27 IPS officers, including an Additional DG, an IG and SPs of 14 districts.
11 RPS officers, who were promoted to IPS rank, were also given new postings in the state in the routine reshuffle.
The transfer orders of a total of 38 officers were issued by the state department of Personnel late last night.
ADG Telecommunications Dalpat Singh was transferred to Rajasthan Human Rights Commission as ADG while IG Human Rights Commission Sunil Dutt was shifted to Telecommunications.
DIG Security Bipin Kumar Pandey would be DIG SOG Jaipur while DIG Armed Battalion Jaipur Surendra Kumar was made ADC to Governor.
Superintendents of Police in Jaipur Rural, Bikaner, Ajmer, Alwar, Kota Rural, Dausa, Baran, Bhilwara, Jaipur north, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Sawaimadhopur, Jodhpur west and Karauli districts were also transferred.
Pankaj Kumar Choudhary, Commandant 11th Battalion RAC New Delhi was transferred to Jaipur in state crime records bureau as SP while Dausa SP Anshuman Bhomia was transferred to Jaipur North as DCP.
Four of the 11 promotee IPS officers were made district SPs.
