Education Minister Vasudev Devnani said that the process to deliver books has started.

"A Mumbai-based trust gave a proposal to provide the holy book in schools, which was accepted and now the Bhagwad Geeta will be made available in 13,401 schools across the state," Sunita Chawala, Assistant Director of the education department said.

She said that the order was issued by the government recently.

Devnani on a 'Geeta Jayanti' function in December last year had announced to provide the copies of Geeta in government schools.
