New Delhi: Now with Google's Chrome Remote Desktop app for iOS devices, one can log into their computer simply via their iPhone or iPad.


The app gives you full control over your computer though your smartphone or tablet.


Another added feature is that the app can give a friend temporary access to your desktop in case you want to retrieve some important data if unable to gain access to it by yourself.


This is how it works: On your computer, set up remote access using the Chrome Remote Desktop app from Chrome Web Store. On your iOS device, open the app and tap your online computers to connect.


The app authorises the connection by generating a code which you must enter into your smartphone or tablet.


The app is available on Apple's App Store.
