India, US share same goal in Afghanistan: Nuland
Praising India`s support in the rebuilding of Afghanistan, US State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland has said both New Delhi and Washington share the same goal in the war-torn nation.
Washington: Praising India`s support in the rebuilding of Afghanistan, US State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland has said both New Delhi and Washington share the same goal in the war-torn nation.
"We certainly have the same goal, which is an Afghanistan that can secure itself and that can have a prosperous, stable future, can be a good neighbour to India and everybody else in its region," Nuland said. She also appreciated the financial support extended by India to Afghanistan. "India is providing a lot of support for police and other economic assistance to Afghanistan," she said, adding the two countries support a peaceful, stable and secure Afghanistan.
