Taliban stones Afghan woman to death

Kabul: Taliban militants have stoned a woman to death over charges of eloping and adultery in Afghanistan's Ghor province, authorities said on Tuesday.

Footage of the stoning showed scores of militants brutally throwing stones at the woman in an isolated area until she died, Xinhua news agency reported.

However, the date of the event remains unknown.
