New Delhi: After spending a year in space as a resident of the International Space Station, NASA astronaut Scott Kelly made a safe journey back to Earth on Tuesday.


The Soyuz spacecraft made a safe and successful landing in Kazakhstan, where Kelly, along with his two crew members, Russian cosmonauts Mikhail Kornienko and Sergey Volkov, were welcomed by NASA officials.


NASA aired the entire process live to all space enthusiasts' delight.


Today, Scott Kelly will be returning to Houston, USA. His flight is estimated to land at 1:50 am EST and NASA has decided to air his US homecoming live as well!
