New Delhi: British astronaut Tim Peake, who is currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS), has shared a beautiful timelapse video of 'Aurora Australis' taken 200 miles above the Earth.

He shared the video with his social media follower on April 7,2016 and captioned, 'We don't see so much of the #Aurora Australis but it's just as stunning'.

Aurora are one effect of such energetic particles, which can speed out from the sun both in a steady stream called the solar wind and due to giant eruptions known as coronal mass ejections or CMEs.
