Lucknow: A day after Rahul Gandhi came under a shoe-attack during his road show at Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh, the grand old party witnessed another embarrassment today after a scuffle broke out between Congress supporters and Special Protection Group (SPG) guards today.

Rahul Gandhi, who kicked-off another road show in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly today, had to intervene to sort out the issue between the two sides. 


As per the sources, there were some issues between Congress vice-president's supporters and SPG teams who were present at the Bareilly road show to guard Gandhi. A war of words and scuffle took place between the two sides which led him to intervene to resolve the matter.


According to another media report, several Congress supporters were reportedly thrashed by the SPG guards during the clash.
