Three youths gang-rape teenage girl in Shamli

Muzaffarnagar: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by three youths in Masoora village in neighbouring Shamli district, police said on Tuesday.

The accused identified as Akbar, Zishan and Kala yesterday abducted the girl when she had gone to fetch water from a public hand pump, Station House Officer VP Singh said.

They then took her to a house and raped her, Singh said, adding that the girl was later found in unconscious state there.

On the basis of the victim's family members, a case has been registered against the absconding accused, the SHO said, adding the victim has been sent for medical examination.
