Was just washing hands, adjusting my pants, not urinating: Allahabad ADM
Allahabad ADM OB Shrivastava, who was caught on camera urinating at `Triveni Sangam` said on Tuesday that he was just washing hands and adjusting his pants.
Allahabad: Allahabad ADM OB Shrivastava, who was caught on camera urinating at 'Triveni Sangam' said on Tuesday that he was just washing hands and adjusting his pants.
"I was just washing hands and adjusting my pants. Was not urinating," Shrivastava said, as per ANI.
In a photo which has gone viral on social media, the Allahabad ADM (Nazul) was allegedly caught relieving himself in Ganga-Yamuna-Saraswati Triveni Sangam.
The officer was at the spot for the press conference in connection with the upcoming 'Triveni Mahotsav'.
The festival is scheduled for February 23.
A probe has been ordered in the matter, as per media reports.
Triveni Sangam is the 'confluence' of three rivers i.e. Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati and is considered a sacred place for Hindus.
