Big-breasted women get more dating requests, says study
The study also revealed that big-breasted women are more likely to get responses about their appearances from would-be suitors.
London: Women who have bigger breasts get more requests for dates, said a British study.
Reporting a case study, the MailOnline said that a woman received 34% more matches on Tinder dating App after she digitally enhanced her cleavage, compared with an identical profile for the same girl with smaller breasts. The study also revealed that big-breasted women are more likely to get responses about their appearances from would-be suitors.
Tinder is a dating app that allows users to scroll through profiles of of the opposite sex. Profiles contain up to five photos, and give the person's first name, age and location. If you like someone you swipe right across their photo on screen, and if you don't you swipe left.
As part of the study, researchers have created two identical profiles for a woman called Carla, 24, from, Manchester. They enhanced her cleavage from an A-cup to a DD-cup by using photoshop.
One profile showed Carla wearing a red dress that allowed her to flaunt her cleavage while the second profile showed her in a blue gown but with a smaller breasts. Researchers then indiscriminately swiped right on 1000 men's profile as both A-cup Carla, and DD-cup Carla.
The results showed that the bustier Carla was over a third more popular. Her profile with bigger breasts got 809 matches - 207 more than her flat chested twin.
According to MailOnline report, while nobody mentioned her generous cleavage, men were more likely to make a comment on Cara's appearance in the profile where she has bigger breasts. She also received several sexual remarks. Researchers concluded that an increase of one cup size boosts a woman's attractiveness in the eyes of men by 9%.
