Zagreb: Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic warned Thursday that his country had limited capacity for accepting and registering thousands of migrants arriving from Hungary, which has sealed its border.

"We will be very constructive and cooperative (regarding migrants) but emphasise that there are limits to our capacities," Milanovic told a cabinet session.


The interior ministry said 5,650 migrants had arrived in the EU member state from Serbia in the last 24 hours, seeking to open up a new route to northern Europe.
