Condemning terror activities, Abdul Basit said, "No religion allows terrorism; no religion allows us to claim innocent lives."

"There are people in the world who don't understand our pain as Pakistan has suffered the most from terrorism," Abdul Basit added.

Abdul Basit and others had gathered in the memory of students killed in APS Peshawar attack.

On 16 December 2014, seven gunmen affiliated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban attacked on the Army Public School in Peshawar killing at least 148.
