According to Pakistani English daily Dawn, Pakistani-Americans from the districts of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland took part in the hour-long protest.

Some of them were even carrying pictures of an alleged Indian spy supposedly arrested in Balochistan.

The protesters claimed that India is encouraging separatist elements in the Pakistani province and urged the US government to use its influence to stop this intervention.

The report said that the demonstration in one of Washington’s busiest areas drew the attention of hundreds of people.
