US, Japan call for emergency UN Security Council meeting on North Korea
The United States and Japan will ask the UN Security Council to hold an emergency meeting Wednesday to discuss Pyongyang`s launch of a ballistic missile that landed in Japanese-controlled waters, US Ambassador Samantha Power said.

"We expect to be calling an emergency meeting of the Security Council for later this afternoon, with our Japanese colleagues," Power told reporters.
