US-led airstrikes attacking Islamic State fighters in Iraq - Watch video

Baghdad: US-led coalition continues to battle with the dreaded terror outfit Islamic State in Iraq.

A video tweeted by 23rd Secretary of the US Air Force shows how the coalition forces destroy the Daesh fighters near Habbaniyay, Iraq.

Earlier this month, CIA Director John Brennan described the Islamic State as a formidable adversary and made a candid admission that the US efforts to contain the dreaded terror group have not reduced its terrorism capability and global reach.

Iraqi military recently declared full liberation of Fallujah city from Islamic State (IS) militants after about a month of battles.

Iraq has witnessed intense violence since the IS controlled parts of its northern and western regions in June of 2014.
