MP lifts Ukraine PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk up by his crotch in Parliament - Watch

Kiev: A bizarre scene was witnessed in Ukraine Parliament when an MP forcibly pulled Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk off the podium by his crotch.

According to reports, Oleg Barna, who belongs to the dominant Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB), first gave a bouquet of roses to the PM and then pulled him off the podium by his crotch.

Yatsenyuk was presenting his government's performance in an annual statement when the incident happened.

Later, scuffle broke out between MPs from PPB and Yatsenyuk's People’s Front (PF).

When everyone had calmed down, representatives from both the PPB and PF apologised.

Protests demanding resignation of Ukraine PM were being held in Kiev.
