According to reports of ANI, the woman was first taken to the hospital from the government ambulance but the ambulance driver left the pregnant woman in the middle as the road was blocked.

After reaching the hospital, the woman gave birth to a baby girl. The CDMO confirmed that woman and child both are healthy. On being asked about the carelessness, he cleared that the hospital authority had arranged all the facilities but were unable to reach patients on time due to lack of connectivity in remote areas.

However, this is not the first case of hospital negligence which has come to light. Earlier also due to lack of ambulance facility in village, a pregnant woman was brought on stretcher, but her child died in womb.
