Odisha man stuffs 459 straws in mouth for 10 secs, creates Guinness World Record

BHUBANESHWAR: A 23-year-old man from Odisha broke the Guinness World Records after he stuffed as many as 459 drinking straws into his mouth at once.
Manoj Kumar Maharana ensured that the straws were in his mouth for at least 10 seconds.
The record is termed as 'Most straws stuffed in the mouth (hands off)' and the challenge is that the participant cannot use his hand to support the straws.
He is only permitted to use elastic bands around the bunch of straws to keep them together.

The record of 'Most straws stuffed in the mouth (hands off)' has reportedly been unbeaten for eight years.
The previous record was made by Simon Elmore who stuffed 400 straws in his mouth at the Mark 'n' Simon Show in Germany.
