Alia Bhatt becomes latest victim of trolls for supporting cracker-free Diwali
The ban will be in effect till further orders till November 1, with the apex court, pointing to the adverse impact of bursting of the fire crackers witnessed year after year, said that the November 11, 2016 order suspending the licenses `should be given one chance to test itself` to see if there would be a positive effect of this, particularly during Diwali.
New Delhi: With the Supreme Court refusing to modify its earlier order banning the sale of firecrackers in Delhi and the NCR, a lot of Bollywood celebrities are stepping forward to support a cracker-free Diwali. Amidst all the debate, actress Alia Bhatt on Saturday posted an interesting video on her Instagram page that hinting at boycotting crackers for the sake of dogs and other animals.
While a lot of her fans appreciated her point-of-view, there were a few who started trolling her brutally. Well, she is not the first celeb who is being slammed online by haters for the same. A while back, Shraddha Kapoor was also trolled for urging people to celebrate Diwali without air and noise pollution.
