From sending migrant workers home in private buses to donating 25,000 face shields to Mumbai police to fight COVID-19, Sonu Sood has earned love, respect and appreciation from all walks of life. 


Recently, a netizen tweeted about his uncle being stuck in Kerala and he sought help so that the family could celebrate Eid together. Sonu Sood replied and assured help to him. Their Twitter exchange has won many hearts online. 



Sometime back, SOnu Sood expressed his wish of penning his experience of helping the migrant workers in this pandemic. Also, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also lauded actor's efforts in sending the migrant workers back home amid this global halth crisis. He tweeted: मैं @sonusood जी का हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त करता हूँ की उन्होंने अपने स्वयं के प्रयासों से मुंबई और आसपास के इलाक़ों में उत्तराखंड के शेष बचे प्रवासियों-जो किसी कारणवश पहले वापिस नहीं आ पाए थे-को उनके घर भेजने का प्रबंध किया। आपके इस सहयोग के लिए हम आपके सदैव आभारी रहेंगे।"



To which Sonu Sood replied: आदरणीय @tsrawatbjp जी आप से फ़ोन पर बात कर बहुत अच्छा लगा। आपने जिस सादगी और गर्मजोशी से मेरे प्रयासों की सराहना की उससे मेरे को और बल मिलता है। मैं जल्द ही बद्री-केदार दर्शनार्थ, उत्तराखंड आऊँगा और आपसे मिलूँगा।
