New Delhi: Former Diversity dancer Rob Anker died in a car crash in Canada, reportedly. The unfortunate incident took place on Thursday morning, as per Telegraph.

The report further quotes Canada's York Regional Police as saying that Chevy Cobalt and a Ford F550 collided in Major Mackenzie Drive before 6am. The 27-year-old rose to fame with after his dance group Diversity featured on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. The dance group became hugely popular after winning the dance show that year.


His family has set up a page 'Just Giving' for the purpose of crowd funding to bear the funeral cost of the late dancer. 


Besides, 'Britain's Got Talent', other television shows where Rob made a mark include 'So You Think You Can Dance?' and 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
