Kulbhushan Jadhav death sentence: Abhijeet Bhattacharya slams Bhatt, Johar camp for promoting Pakistani artistes
A Pakistan Army statement on Monday said Jadhav was arrested from Balochistan on March 3, 2016, and charged with `espionage and waging war against Pakistan`.
New Delhi: Indian singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya on Monday took to Twitter to slam Bollywood's Bhatt and Johar camps. The 58-year-old vocalist accused them of promoting Pakistani talent. He also sparked a controversy by saying Pak people in India should be hanged.
Taking a cue from Kulbhushan Jadhav death sentence, Abhijeet tweeted, "भारत में पाकिस्तानी दिखे तो उनको पेड़ से लटका दो.. you will find them mostly in Bollywood or Bhatt or Johar's house #कुलभूषण_की_फांसी_रोको."
It roughly translates to, “Pakistanis in India should be hanged from trees.”
He also urged to revoke Kulbhushan Jadhav's death sentence. A Pakistan Army statement on Monday said Jadhav was arrested from Balochistan on March 3, 2016, and charged with 'espionage and waging war against Pakistan'.
