Many of us would want to live PC's life but we know nothing of the struggles she has had to go through. The desi girl of Bollywood was reportedly subjected to racism as she wasn't cast in a movie simply because of the colour of her skin.

Here's what Priyanka said in an interview with ET Canada, according to a dnaindia.com report:

"Racism? Yeah! I wasn't cast in a movie because I didn't...because they had to write a storyline explaining why an American would be Indian and things like that. So that's hugely racist. Even though you might be the best person for the job, just because of the colour of your skin, you don't get cast. So, that happens and it was extremely painful!"
She further said that, "I think racism is something that's prevalent everywhere. It's just how many people talk about it and how many people have the courage to call it out."

Here's wishing all the very best to our dear Priyanka for all her future endeavours!
