According to an India Today report, the 'Bhaijaan' of B-Town emerged as the highest advance tax payer from the Indian film industry for the entire financial year 2016-17 by paying a whopping amount of Rs 44.5 crore. Well, that is huge, isn’t it? With this, Salman has also left behind other celebrities like Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar.


On the other hand, ace comedian Kapil Sharma reportedly paid an advance tax of Rs 23.9. The report further states that Deepika Padukone paid an advance tax of Rs 10.25 crore, all thanks to her Hollywood debut and global recognition.


Well, it wouldn't be wrong to say that the tinsel town is moving in the right direction and earning big bucks.
