New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan's security has been reportedly tightened by the Mumbai police after his alleged murder plan was revealed by the arrested gangster. The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana police had recently caught hold of gangster Sampat Nehra, who was reportedly working on a plot to kill the Bollywood actor.

As per Zee News report, the Mumbai cops have beefed-up Salman's security after getting an information from the Haryana police about the gangster's plan. The report mentions that as per Haryana police, the gangster Sampat had done a recce and had a close watch on Salman's move. He was planning to execute his plan of killing over past few months. 


However, the gangster was arrested by the cops in Hyderabad. 


Reportedly, Sampat is a sharpshooter with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang of Rajasthan. 


Salman received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in January this year over his involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. 


Meanwhile, the actor is currently gearing up for the release of this upcoming venture 'Race 3'  which stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. The film is releasing on Eid, June 15, 2018.
