NEW DELHI: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make his big comeback to the silver screen with much-awaited action-thriller 'Pathaan'. The film is slated for release on January 25 and his fans can't keep calm. Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai's 2018 released 'Zero' and since then have made special appearances in films like 'Brahmastra' and 'Rocketery: The Nambi Effect'.

In the meantime, a few pictures of the Bollywood superstar from the sets of his film has gone viral on the internet. In the photos, the entire crew of 'Pathaan' including director Siddharth Anand are seen carrying Shah Rukh in their arms. Named Rajvi Asher, the crew member wrote, "Yeh naam kyun pada, kaise pada, iske liye thoda intezaar kijiye"  JALDI MILTE HAI…#PATHAAN SE !!! 25th January 2023…ONLY IN CINEMAS ! #10DaysToPathaan" 



 
A fan commented, "Happiness is... SRK smile thanks #Pathaan team by making our man SO HAPPY!!!!"

PATHAAN TRAILER ON BURJ KHALIFA


The superstar recently showcased the trailer of the film on 'Burj Khalifa' and fans were left in shouting for him. The actor's manager Pooja Dadlani took to her Instagram story section to share glimpses from the promotional event, which shows King Khan's fans cheering for him as the actor grooves to the song 'Jhomme Jo Pathaan'. 'Pathaan' also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham and will release on January 25. Shah Rukh plays a gun-toting spy with a licence to kill in 'Pathaan', whereas John will be seen playing the arch-enemy of the titular character in the film. He will be seen in the most ruthless avatar in the film. This is the first time Shah Rukh and John have collaborated together. 


While the advance bookings for the Siddharth Anand's directorial 'Pathaan' in India are yet to open, the producers, YRF have already started the advance bookings in the key international pockets. Looking at the early response to the film on the ticket sales, it is definitely a treat to the sore eyes. As per Pinkvilla, the pre-sales story for the film started in Germany in December last year, where the sales opened a full month before the release. The tickets in many of the big theatres in Hamburg and Berlin were sold out rather quickly. 


The entertainment portal further added that in UAE, 'Pathaan' has sold 3500 tickets for the opening day in the middle eastern market, which amounts to USD 50,000. In Australia, the film sold 3000 plus tickets worth AUSD 65,000 in Australia for the opening day. 



Apart from 'Pathaan', Shah Rukh also has Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' with Taapsee Paanu and Atlee's 'Jawan' with Nayanthara under his belt. Both films are slated to arrive in cinemas this year.
