The woman, named Michelle was thrilled to get back her wedding dress which had been mixed up with someone else's at the dry cleaners 32 years ago!

On Feb 4, Ame Bartlebaugh found the dress stored in her attic when she went looking for her mother's wedding dress. Ame posted about the dress on Facebook and Michelle, the real owner of the dress, was glad to get it back!

Ame wrote-

It's been a crazy day. Yesterday when I went to open my mom's wedding dress box, it wasn't her dress! By pure luck we found the owner to the dress in under 24 hours thanks to so many people sharing the post!

Unfortunately, the woman who's dress we had, had a different dress that wasn't my moms! So in the spirit of keeping hope, I am still searching for my mother's dress and veil.

Both my aunt and mom wore this dress. Below are their pictures.

If you or someone you know got married in June of 1985 and took their dress to a Willowick dry cleaner (possibly Mr. Todd's) it might not hurt to take a peek to see if the dress it the right one!

Amazing right? Social media has indeed brought the world closer!

Looks like one must be careful in picking the dry-cleaner before giving the wedding dress for a wash!
