Photo Gallery: Indian Army and International Association of Athletics Federation celebrate Global Run Day

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, (PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, ADC) was the Chief Guest and flagged the run. Mr. Adille J. Sumariwalla, President Athletics Federation of India, Council Member - International Association of Athletics Federations, also graced the event. 

 It starts in Tokyo and ends in Monaco. The tag line is “OUTRUN THE SUN” as it follows the sun.

INDIA is one of the chosen countries to organise this run on the 2nd of June 2019. ATHLETICS FEDERATIONS of INDIA is organising this Run with the help of Indian Army at Cariappa  (Army) Parade Ground, Delhi Cantonment at 7:30 am. Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, (PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, ADC) was the Chief Guest and flagged the run.

Adille J. Sumariwalla, President Athletics Federation of India, Council Member - International Association of Athletics Federations, also graced the event. Defence attaches from 24 countries were invited to join this run in Delhi with their flags to cherish the joy of run together.

The event was flagged by Army Chief Bipin Rawat.
