International conference of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community begins in Gurdaspur
The 122nd International conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community began at Qadian town here.
Gurdaspur: The 122nd International conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community began at Qadian town here.
The first session of the convention was chaired by Maulana Muhammad Inam Ghaori (chief secretary of Ahmadiyya Muslim community, India), who said that the foundation of the convention was laid down by Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, in 1891 AD.
Ghaori asked the participants to indulge in their spiritual development and endeavour to play their part in the development of their country.
Several Ahmadiyya Scholars presented discourse during the event, including Maulana Sultan Ahmad on 'Existence of the God'.
The first session of the convention was attended by more than 12,000 delegates from all over the world.
Sekh Mujahid Ahmad, Press Secretary, Ahmdiyya Muslim Community said that the community would organise Sarb Dharma Sammelan (all religious convention) tomorrow in which scholars and representatives from various religious would take part.
