Mumbai: The first part of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus – Baahubali – has re-released today in over 1000 screens! Starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in lead roles, ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ which released in 2015 wowed moviegoers across oceans with its larger than life appeal and mesmerising visual effects.

And now, fans of the film have an opportunity to watch it again on the silverscreen. The second and concluding part of the film – ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ – is slated to release in the next two weeks on April 28.


The first part has been re-released by the makers so that moviegoers can watch it again to understand the narrative better and experience greater thrill while watching the concluding half.


Karan Johar, who released the Hindi version took to Twitter Thursday to write: "Over a 1000 screens! Widest re-release of an Indian film! 'Baahubali'...experience the magic before the epic releases on April 28."


Besides Prabhas and Rana, the film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.


The film set in the backdrop of a fictional kingdom in ancient India offers spectacular visuals, breathtaking special effects and jaw-dropping action sequences.
