The plot of the story has been kept a secret and rightfully so. However, speculations are rife that Akshay Kumar, who plays Dr. Richard, will portray 12 different avatars.

When the posters of the film were first unveiled, audience was shocked to see Akshay in an evil-like avatar. He sported long pointed nails, sharp dentures, orange eyes and bushy eyebrows. His look in the film is scary indeed.

According to a report in dnaindia.com, Akshay plays an evil scientist. However, according to reports published a few days back, Akshay isn’t the antagonist. And if Akshay isn’t the villain then who is?

Produced by Lyca Productions the film made at an estimated budget of Rs 450 crores is believed to be the most expensive Indian film to date. The audio of the film was launched during a gala event in Dubai a few days back. Attended by AR Rahman (the music composer of the film), Akshay, Amy and Rajini, the event was one of the biggest Indian film events on foreign soil in the recent times. There were live performances by singers who have sung songs for the film.

2.0 also stars Amy Jackson and is slated to hit the silverscreen on January 25.
