New Delhi: Indian television's one of the most adorable couples, Kiran Karmarkar and Rinku Dhawan are reportedly heading for a divorce. The actors shot to fame with Ekta Kapoor's superhit daily soap 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' and became a household name.
Although the two played siblings in the show, fans loved to watch them together. According to Bombay Times.com, the couple is heading for a splitsville and ending their 15 years of marriage.
The report quotes a source as saying, “the two have been living separately for a year now. A source said, "Both Kiran and Rinku are mature, creative people. After being together for 15 years, they have decided to separate because of unresolved differences — they believe it is better than living in constant acrimony. The decision is amicable and their priority is their teenager son."
Adding further, the source said, “Rinku and Kiran don't want to talk about their personal lives. They are fiercely guarding their privacy as they don't want unnecessary publicity to upset their son."
The duo has not made their separation news public as of now.
