Shimla DC calls for advisory for tourists visiting during snowfall
Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday largely witnessed a sunny but chilly day with temperatures in many areas staying below freezing point after an overnight snowfall in the high hills.
SHIMLA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Shimla, Rohan Chand Thakur on Wednesday appealled to his counterparts in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh to issue advisories to people in their respective districts regarding visiting Shimla during snowfall.
He asked the Deputy Commissioners of the respective regions to educate the people regarding preparation and precautions while visiting Shimla during snowfall.
